Information
Established
in Fall 1992, the Kapi'olani Community College Office of Planning and
Institutional Research supports faculty, students, and staff in:
assessment
of applicants' abilities;
conducting
program reviews, analyzing institutional effectiveness and conducting
self-studies for reaccreditation purposes;
coordination,
administration, and analysis of surveys, questionnaires and focus groups,
including the end-of-semester Student Feedback Survey;
conducting
studies dealing with a variety of institutional research issues ranging
from demand forecasts to characteristics of various college groups;
serving
as an in-house consulting entity for faculty and staff in research design
and statistical analysis.

Accreditation self-study planning agenda, and facility utilization.

Planning:

Office also supports planning activities for the college, including the
preparation of strategic and academic development plans, and conducting
the necessary studies to support recommendations for ending programs or
establishing new ones.
