Step-by-Step Instructions

Applying to KCC can be as easy as I, II, III. (See notes regarding special circumstances below.)

STEP I:
Obtain and complete the University of Hawaii System Application Form. The Application is available online for printing. Information about Deadlines, Academic Programs, Certificates/Degrees, Residency and Detailed Instructions on filling out the application are included with the UH System Application.

You can print out this PDF form if you have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. To download a free Acrobat Reader or for additional assistance, go to the KCC PDF Help Page.

You may also obtain a copy from any UH System campus Admissions Office.

STEP II:
Drop off or send in completed application to the Kekaulike Information & Service Center.

STEP III:
The Kekaulike Information & Service Center may request additional information from you and/or your parents. It is important that you respond promptly.

ONCE YOUR APPLICATION IS ACCEPTED:
The Kekaulike Information & Service Center will send you a notification of acceptance and enrollment instructions by mail. [Health Clearance, Placement Testing, Registration, Orientation sessions, MyUH Portal]

Non-Residents:
A non-refundable $25 application fee is required. Make check payable to: Kapi'olani Community College and send with application.

Returning Students:
If you attended KCC previously and skipped at least one semester, you must re-apply for admission.
