Campus Tour > Native Hawaiian Plants -  SITEMAP | CAMPUS MAP

Welcome to the Native Hawaiian Plants section of the Online Campus Tour.

Our modern campus is architecturally integrated with its beautiful natural surroundings. The building names serve as a reminder to students of the natural environment and reference native plants that are either endemic or indigenous to Hawaii. Some of buildings have their namesake plant at the entrance. These pages will introduce you to the plants whose names grace the campus buildings.

To learn about the plants, click on the arrow [ right arrow ] in the banner at the top of this page and continue clicking to see a drawing and some basic information about each of the twenty native Hawaiian plants represented. You can also click the left arrow to revisit plant pages. Or click on the thumbnail images of the plants on this page. Another way to access this information is by clicking on the graphic header on each of the building pages of the Campus Tour.

If you are interested in a particular plant, you can get there more directly by going to the Native Hawaiian Plants SITEMAP and chosing the plant name.
