New Student Orientation and Advising

Congratulations and welcome to Kapi`olani Community College!

STEP 1: ON YOUR MARK: ATTEND A NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION AND ADVISING SESSION
Parents, guardians, spouses, and/or friends are also invited!

These sessions WILL BEGIN ON TIME and doors will shut 15 minutes after the start time.
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING TO THE SESSION (ALL REQUIRED):

• Pencil and/or pen
• Placement test scores
• UH Identification Number

After these sessions, you will:

• Know how to use the Schedule of Classes and learn how to pick the right classes
• Understand the significance of your placement test scores
• Feel more comfortable starting your first semester at KCC

STEP 2: GET SET: REGISTER FOR CLASSES VIA MYUH ONLINE

Log on to http://myuhportal.hawaii.edu.
If you need help troubleshooting, visit the Kekaulike Information and Services Center in `Ilima 102 or call the UH Tech Support at 956-8883.

STEP 3: GO!

Some of the things to do before the first day of instructions, JANUARY 9, 2006!

• Buy your books at The Bookstore in the `Ohia building, ground floor!
• Follow-up on your financial aid status!
• Remember to go to class!
