Aloha and warmest greetings!

The Honda International Center, located on the campus of the University of Hawai‘i – Kapi‘olani Community College (KCC), provides both University of Hawai‘i Community Colleges and KCC campus-wide with services, activities and support in the area of international education.

The Honda International Center (HIC), staffed by three faculty coordinators, international admission staff, student service/office manager and student help, provides services, activities and support in the following areas:

• Enrollment of international students, including but not limited to, marketing, recruitment, admission, orientation, comprehensive student success system, etc.

• International Student Services for students with SEVIS/F-1 visas including assistance with health insurance, housing, F-1 visa regulations, tax issues, work permits and academic counseling.

• Coordination and implementation of international agreements such as study abroad agreements and scholarship programs.

• Customized international education and training programs including short and medium-term Intensive English, American and Hawaiian Culture, Culinary, IT and other areas of study.

• Coordination of protocol activities, including UHCC system-wide seminars and conferences.
