One: Specify language (English), platform (Win 95, Win 98 or Win 3.1)
and nearest location (USA) from pull down menus.
1.5 Step
Two: Select the area you are most interested in and type in your email
address in the space provided.
1.6 Step
Three: Click on the "Download" button to begin downloading.
1.7 The Download
link will download the Acrobat Reader installer application named something
like "ar40eng". You may need to use the "Save to Disk" function of your
Web browser. Save it to the new folder you created, C:\ACROREADER. The
download of this Setup application might take a few minutes.
1.8 Go into
C:\ACROREADER and run the file that you just downloaded. Follow the installation
instructions that appear on the screen. The installation procedure will
ask you to read and accept the Electronic End User License Agreement.

or "Mac_hqx") and nearest location (USA) from pull down menus.
Note: To
download the MacBinary version (".bin" file), your Web browser should
be configured to understand the application/x-macbinary MIME type. To
download the BinHex version (".hqx" file), your Web browser should be
configured to understand the application/mac-binhex40 MIME type. Otherwise,
You may need to use the "Save to Disk" function of your Web browser and
then unpack the file. StuffIt
Expander, a popular Helper Application from Aladdin Systems, can do
either job.
2.4 Step
Two: Select the area you are most interested in and type in your email

2.5 Step
Three: Click on the "Download" button to begin downloading.
2.6 Once
unpacked, you'll have an installer program downloaded on your system.
Double-click on the installer program icon and follow the installation
instructions that appear on the screen. The installation procedure will
ask you to read and accept the Electronic End User License Agreement.
NOTE:
If there is a failure at any point during the installation of Acrobat
Reader, the installer will perform a complete uninstall. Do not close
the installer application by clicking its close box in the upper right
corner of the background window after clicking the "Thank You" dialog
box that appears at the end of the installation. If you wait for a second
or two, the installer will automatically close the background windows
after the installation is complete.
