either in person or in writing of the problem.

Generally
all transcripts intended for other educational institutions should be
sent directly to the appropriate office at that school in order to guarantee
that the transcript will be accepted as official. Students requesting
to have a transcipt sent to them personally, which they, in turn, want
to submit elsewhere as an official transcript should request that the
transcript be sent in an "officially sealed" envelope. However,
we do not guarantee that other schools will accept these as official transcripts.
REQUESTING
TRANSCRIPTS BY FAX: Requests may be faxed to the following number: 808-734-9896, Attention:
KISC Transcript Request. Include the same student and payment information
as stated above in the “Requesting Transcripts by Mail” section.
SENDING
TRANSCRIPTS BY FAX: Transcripts will be faxed only under special emergency situations
with prior approval of the registrar. The $10.00 RUSH charge will be applied
and advance payment is required. Other institutions will probably not
accept these as official transcripts, so there would also be an additional
charge for any requested official copy to follow by mail.
ENCLOSURES
WITH TRANSCRIPTS: Kapi'olani cannot accept enclosures to be sent with transcripts, except
for a verification card or form.
VERIFYING
THAT TRANSCRIPTS HAVE BEEN SENT: Kapi'olani does not send written verification that a transcript request
has been processed. Students and former students needing to verify that
a transcript request has been received and processed may contact KISC
at the number listed below.
