KCC Services > Computer Commons > Make-Up Testing Make-Up Testing/Distraction-Free Testing The Lama lab will be handling make-up testing for all classes at or above the 100 level. This means that instructors are able to send their students to the center to take tests that the students may have missed during regular class periods or to retake tests they had originally taken in class. This lab is also responsible for Distraction-Free Testing. Arranging for Make-Up Testing Instructors will bring copies of the test to be administered to the Lama 101 lab. The instructor will fill out the MAKE-UP TESTING form and a sign-in sheet. If the correct forms are not completed, the test will not be administered. The instructor MUST individually list the names of the students. The list is necessary for security (as well as clerical) purposes. When students come in to take a test, the monitors will check their ID's to make sure the right student is taking the test. For Distraction-Free testing, the instructor must complete the BLUE MAKE-UP TESTING form. Instructors may NOT leave a test for a whole class (or for whole classes) of students as a makeup exam. The Lama lab will not accept more than 10 tests per section. If there are special circumstances, arrangements should be made with the Lab Manager.
