[triangle]Bus Passes:

Monthly bus passes are $40 per adult and are available for purchase at OSA one week before the first day of each month until two weeks into each month. Bus schedules for most Honolulu routes are available free of charge in a rack in the first floor Ohia lobby. Cash and personal checks payable to "KCC" are accepted.

[triangle]Campus Bulletin Board Posting Service:

All duly registered student clubs may request the OSA to post their KCC campus activities and events fliers on the twenty bulletin boards, subject to OSA policy. Commercial fliers of profit-making organizations are prohibited by KCC administrative policy. Only student activities-related fliers are eligible for posting on OSA bulletin boards.

[triangle]Clubs:

The Office of Student Activities conducts personal club leader orientation appointments at the beginning of each semester to help clubs get started. There are a dozen active clubs at KCC, including academic, cultural, and social clubs such as the Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society for two-year colleges. Other clubs include the Bahai Association Club at KCC, Bayanihan Sa, the Chinese Club, eBusiness Club, Genesis Club, Hui Hoaloha, the Korean Club, Occupational Therapy Assisting Club, Physical Therapist Assisting Club, the Spanish Club, American Sign Language Club, and the Student Nursing Association Club. Club membership is open to all students.

[triangle]Credit Union:

The U.H. Federal Credit Union is located in 'Ohi'a 102, adjacent to the Office of Student Activities. The credit union is available on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. The KCC branch provides limited services, including assistance with opening accounts, credit card and loan applications, check deposits, etc. The credit union does not accept cash deposits or provides cash withdrawals; for these services, customers must go to the main office located at 2019 South King Street 808.983.5500.

[triangle]Health Insurance:

General information on student health insurance and dental insurance is available at the Student Activities Office during normal business hours. For any insurance questions, please contact the appropriate insurance company directly or you may contact the UH Student Health Service at 808.956.8965.

[triangle]Housing:

There are no facilities at KCC to provide student housing. However the Office of Student Activities maintains a bulletin board in the lobby outside the KCC Bookstore for posting housing ads. OSA does not screen. So students may contact advertisers at their own risk. For information on UH-Manoa housing availability, prices, help with applications, etc., please call the UH Housing Office at 808.956.8177.

[triangle]Locker Rental:

OSA lockers are available for rent from the first day of instruction of each semester until the last day of finals for the semester. Lockers are located in the hallway outside of the OSA office in the 'Ohi'a Building. Locker rental is $5 per semester for small book lockers and $10 per semester for large gym-style lockers. Cash and personal checks payable to "KCC" are accepted.

[triangle]Lost & Found:

The Office of Student Activities maintains a campus lost & found center in its office in 'Ohi'a 101 for books, clothing, and other miscellaneous items. Students may record their lost items in the lost & found log book in person or by phone. In the event that the lost item is found, OSA will contact the claimant. Found items may be claimed by providing a description of the lost item and a valid I.D.

[triangle]Movie Tickets:

Discounted movie tickets for Consolidated Movie Theaters and Signature Theatre Complexes are available, maximum 10 tickets per person per day. Personal checks payable to "KCC" and cash are accepted.

[triangle]OSA Sports Equipment:

The OSA has a very limited inventory of some group sports equipment that an enrolled KCC student or registered student club may borrow for a day or two by signing out for the sports equipment in Ohia 101.

[triangle]Student Club Mailboxes:

All duly registered student clubs are provided with a club mailbox inside of the Office of Student Activities (OSA) in Ohia 101 for their convenience in receiving club mail. This club mailbox privilege is contingent upon being in good standing with the OSA by timely submission of the Annual Student Club Status Report Form within the first 30 days of the fall semester and the Semester Student Club Status Report within the first 30 days of the spring semester.
